great classic book for children of all ages!

In this classic, Mark Twain (alias Samuel Clemens) brings us his life growing up in the Mississippi area through the eyes of his fictional and much beloved mischief maker Tom Sawyer and his sidekick Huck Finn.
If you loved this book as a kid, rest assured while there are no witches, goblins, vampires and magic in this book, your kids will love it too. It’s entertaining reading, and I am sure your kids will see part of themselves in these characters. A true piece of Americana of a time and a place that is no more. I loved it, hope you and/or others will too!

Jane Eyre – Macmillan

Highlights:

HIS NOVEL was first published in 1847. The author’s name was given as ‘Currer Bell’, and it was only later known to have been written by Miss Charlotte Brontë, one of the five daughters of a clergyman in Yorkshire. Charlotte Brontë had an intense and lively imagination, and in Jane Eyre she has projected much of her own character and experience. Like Jane she was little and plain, and like Jane she went to a charity school and later became a private governess
