Children continue to enjoy reading, only when they have mastered the basics in reading, To lay a good foundation in reading, students should be guided to first learn the sounds of letters, and then blend it wit the five vowels. It has to be done step by step, rather than just expose a child is given an opportunity to master them separately. Readers 1,2,3 give the child a strong foundation in ‘reading’.
